Welcome to
Kingsbrompton Farm
Exmoor National Park

Relaxing, cosy, spacious and comfortable self catering farmhouse accommodation
in the wing of our traditional country farmhouse set in the
Brendon Hills - parts of which date back to 1659.

We are two miles from the village of Brompton Regis and six from the popular small country town of Dulverton. Wimbleball Lake is just two miles from here and can be seen from parts of the farm and is ideal for sailing, fishing, walking and picnics.

The area is very popular with walkers, horse riders and lovers of the great outdoors making this a popular venue for guests wanting to get away from it all, especially out of season and families with children will be in their element with so much to see and do. Secret unspoilt areas ideal for artists.

Wonderful far reaching and changing views from different parts of the farm over unspoilt hills and valleys and not another house in sight.
Red deer can often be seen wandering over the farm and there is wildlife in profusion.

Guests will be welcome to share and explore our organic farm which is home to our herd of pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Limousin cattle and our flock of Lleyn and Texel sheep and meet our two working sheepdogs.

Just a short drive to beautiful moorland walks of Exmoor and the Quantocks and the seaside town of Minehead and a ride on the popular West Somerset Steam Railway passing through Dunster, Blue Anchor, Watchet, Williton, Crowcombe and Sogumber to Bishops Lydeard.
Visit the Farmers' Markets, Dunster Castle and the National Trust houses during your stay.

The cottage is south facing with excellent views and a large lawn and patio area complete with garden furniture.

Downstairs the accommodation consists of a living room with a wood burning stove and the original bread oven. A newly modernised kitchen with oakcupboards, granite worktops and an Aga also a utility room with room for your outdoor clothing and wellies plus a downstairs loo.
